The Festival of Trees is the flagship fundraising and friend-raising event supporting the University Hospital Foundation. The University Hospital Foundation passionately promotes the power of generosity to change and save lives. We inspire people to help advance our hospital as a world leader in specialized and complex care, and to bring innovation to life – supporting emerging ideas and technologies that are advancing excellence in patient care, education and research. Funds raised at the 2017 Festival of Trees will support the purchase of over $1 million in advanced, state-of-the-art monitoring and patient care technology for the Rapid Transfer Unit in the University of Alberta Hospital’s Emergency Department.
